Obtaining Data
The UKBMS database is managed by the Biological Records Centre, based at CEH Monks Wood. UKBMS data can be supplied (in digital form or as hard copy) as follows:
- National log collated indices for specific species
- Annual indices for species at specific sites
- Annual, weekly and/or section, summary tables of species counts for specific sites
- Complete field data
NB. National indices can only be provided for species for which there are sufficient data to provide a reliable index. These indices are not provided for species poorly represented at BMS sites.
